Labyrinth Smart Egg Review

The Smart Egg is a labyrinth puzzle. It comes with a wand which you insert at the top to make your way through the labyrinth to get to the bottom. The challenge is to see how fast you can finish the labyrinth. There are six to collect – Jester, Lava, Hive, Techno, Groovy and Skull.

I was sent two Smart Eggs to review; Jester and Groovy. As soon as they came through the door they were each grabbed by my two children. My daughter did not find it much of a challenge to go through the labyrinth. It did not take her long to have the wand out from the bottom. My son on the other hand was a little too enthusiastic and broke the wand in his attempt to get through the labyrinth.

I think this puzzle is more fun when played with two or more people. This is the opinion I have after my daughter’s reaction.

I found the instructions on the packaging clear and concise. It is clearly outlined how to play in three easy steps. There are clear safety warnings and the recommended age is stated at 8+.

I think the Smart Egg is a fun puzzle which can be challenging and entertaining when played with other people. I can only imagine that the Smart Egg app would also add to the fun and enjoyment.
