So I’ve heard a lot about Netflix and a lot of people have recommended it to me before but we got the chance to trial Netflix. Here will be a weekly/monthly diary of how I get on!
It was very easy and simple to sign up, yes you do have to enter your bank details even on the trials but all over the website big capital bold letters does say that you can cancel at any time. So you won’t get snowed under with Netflix payments if you do wish to cancel. Had a little questionnaire so they could recommend films to me.
First night snuggled up on the sofa with my pizza and watched 'Drive'
The film 'Drive' really is a bit different to the average action/thriller as it takes on the film noir side. if you are a film buff or love to watch a movie with a difference then this is for you… I can honestly say I'm used to the sort of action we see on screen involving Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel and Arnie of course… what I didn't realise until I watched Drive is how much we are used to speech in a film, Drive is brilliantly acted in fact this is what I would call acting, it relies equally on body languange, gesture and facial expressions between the actors as it does words, bringing something fresher to the screen, acted beautifully by Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan as the main 2 characters. Ryan Gosling playing a movie stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver and that’s all of the plot I'm willing to hand out… all I need to say is you really should see Drive.
