Jack Ryan (Pine) was an ordinary man with an extraordinary determination to make a difference after feeling the impact of 9/11. Joining the army, his dedication and commitment to serve his country makes him an exceptional soldier, which doesn’t go unnoticed. After finding himself on the front lines and a direct casualty of war, he must make a decision about where to turn next, with the support of his physio (and potential love interest), Cathy (Knightley). Enter William Harper (Costner) and Russian businessman Cherevin (Branagh).
The movie contains the right blend of humour, action and intrigue which keeps you captivated without feeling predictable. The movie itself offers insight into the world of secret service which, if based on fact, creates a worrying reality. That said nothing about the film is unbelievable and all who star do their roles and storyline justice.
Now showing at Cineworld Milton Keynes and cinemas througout the UK.
