I absolutely love Lush products so was very pleased to be chosen to review the Sweetie Pie Shower Gel.

The Sweetie Pie Shower Gel comes in a 100g clear plastic tub. As with all Lush it is hand made with natural vegan ingredients.

Invented for their 10th birthday this little pot of marvel has an incredible scent of cherries when you take the lid off. It does say coconut and blackcurrant are used but I couldn’t smell any. It looks and feels like a blackcurrant jelly and is deep purple in colour with the added treat of sparkles running through it. I especially liked the idea of the little sticker with made by… (in this case Brynn, thanks Brynn!) and use by date. SweetPieShowerGel1

I pulled a chunk off with my fingers and rubbed on my skin whilst in the bath unfortunately it just kept slipping out of my hand so I got a sponge and rubbed into that this approached worked wonders and spread smoothly across my body. I didn’t wash my hair with it but I guess it would be fine to. It also says it can be kept in the fridge or freezer which would be pretty cool (excuse the pun) in the summer months.

Sweetie Pie left my skin feeling soft and silky and didn’t dry it out at all. The aroma in the bathroom was divine but it doesn’t linger too long on the skin which is a shame. I also noticed that none of the sparkles transferred to my body. I have used it twice now and would say there is enough for at least one maybe two more baths/showers.

A good product, which in my opinion is more of a novelty gift or for kid’s fun.
