Healthy Hand Baked Dog Treat made with No artificial preservatives, colours, flavour enhancers, salt or sugar.
The product comes in simple straightforward packaging with an information tag that includes expiry dates, basic guidelines of number of treats to be given (no more than 3 per day), ingredients, etc… The only problem with the packaging is there is no way to really close the bag once opened, some sort of closing mechanism or better tie system would be handy. However, the packaging was very attractive and did make me feel like they were handmade biscuits and there were a really good number of biscuits in the bag for the price you pay (£3.25).
The biscuits themselves looked very yummy, even I would want to try some! They smelt lovely and I really did feel like it was spoiling my dog. He was a bit apprehensive about eating it at first but he seems to do that with anything healthy which was a good sign. After realising that he was only getting a healthy treat he did gobble it up pretty sharpish and seemed to enjoy the biscuit. We have found with previous hand-baked treats they can be overly crumbly which is annoying for us having to clean up, these were quite good. They did break up more than the normal unhealthy biscuits you can buy but did not leave too much mess and the dog soon hoovered that up.
I would buy these biscuits for my dog again, I think you get a good number of treats for the price and I am always in favour of handmade and healthy treats than those containing cereals and preservatives. I would give the product 4 out 5, the one mark taken off for not being able to reseal the bag to keep the biscuits fresh.
