My twin sons recently had their 9th birthday and I was overjoyed to be able to review 4 fantastic products from Beatrix Potter Gifts By Enesco.

The first item I received was a Peter Rabbit Extra Large Soft Toy from the Peter Rabbit collection.   The website informed me that the Peter Rabbit collection features the much loved characters from the Peter Rabbit books.  This arrived in a plastic bag and in perfect condition.  What struck me first of all was how well made it was, so well made in fact that I can see this being passed on to another child in the future. Peter Rabbit is so soft and cuddly.  I love the fact that Peter Rabbit has an outfit on that can be found in the Peter Rabbit books.  Peter Rabbit is cream and brown in colour.  His beautiful jacket is blue. The detail on it is stunning. It even has buttons that look like buttons but are not real buttons and pockets that are not real pockets but look like real pockets. His ears stand upwards and look adorable. He has a cute looking nose and mouth.   So much attention to detail has clearly gone into this soft toy.  It’s a good size but not too big that it would be tricky to take Peter Rabbit out on some family adventures.    Whilst the RRP is not cheap at £29.95 I think the quality and size of the toy make it good value for money.  I gifted this toy to my sons for their birthday.  This Peter Rabbit soft toy is CE marked, suitable for age 1+ and hand washable.  The fact that it is hand washable is music to my ears. It’s not unusual for things in my household to get covered in messy handprints.

The second item I received, a Mrs Tiggy – Winkle Large Soft Toy,  was also from The Peter Rabbit collection.  She too arrived in a clear plastic bag and was in perfect condition.  She is dressed in a white gingham hat, pink and white gingham top, yellow and blue striped petticoat and a white apron.   She too, like the Peter Rabbit soft toy received, is soft and cuddly. Her nose is cute and squishy.   Mrs Tigglywinkle is suitable for age 1+, CE marked and hand washable.  Her height is 24.0cm.  I think that she too, like Peter Rabbit, is the perfect size to come along on family adventures.  I did not give this soft toy to my sons for their birthday, instead gifting it to a friend’s daughter. The RRP of this product is £19.95 and I think that the quality and size of the soft toy makes it good value for money.

The final items received to review were a Peter Rabbit Union Jack Notepad By Beatrix Potter and a Peter Rabbit Spiral Notepad And Pen By Beatrix Potter. The former notepad comes with a red and white pen and the latter, a blue and white pen.  Both notepad designs are simple yet stunning.  There is a generous number of pages within the notepad for writing and drawing on.  One of my twins, T, had great fun doing this.   I think that the RRP of £2.95 for each of these notebooks is great value. I would pay more for this item.  The latter notepad also comes in a pink and white colour scheme. These made a perfect birthday gift for my twin sons.

I am really impressed with all of the products I received to review from Beatrix Potter Gifts by Enesco.  I have had a good look at their website and a good variety of products are available that I think would make a fantastic ‘Just Because’, birthday or Christmas gift idea. I would not hesitate to recommend these products and the website as a whole.
