I am a qualified Master Practitioner in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Timeline Therapy and Hypnotherapy, all of which are used to help breath and relax amongst other techniques.

Every morning as I wake up and every evening, just before I go to sleep, I do some calming mindfulness.  I use something called Hearth Math to rebalance my breathing, energise myself for the day ahead or to unwind before I sleep.

This past 16th months has been very difficult due to the pandemic and I have done many puzzles during this time, so you can imagine how excited I was to be asked to review the Calm Mindful Puzzle.

I actually subscribe to the Calm App, so the two go hand in hand very well indeed.

The jigsaw contains 300 pieces and it says on the box that it can be completed within 2 to 3 hours.  I personally left it on my table and kept going back and forth.  Whilst putting the jigsaw together, I listened to the Calm App, it really did take me off to another zone where I felt really relaxed and at ease.  The jigsaw does actually come with a 30 day app subscription which I thoroughly recommend signing up to.  Even if you do not continue with it, the 30 days are most certainly worth trying out.

What makes this jigsaw unique is it pairs the stunning scene with related audio from the Calm app.

There is a beautifully illustrated poster to follow and help you put the jigsaw together, as well as the box itself.  I am even thinking of getting the poster framed and hun on the wall, it really is a beautiful and relaxing picture to look at,  The calmness of the water with the reflection of the treats and the mountains that sit behind them make it a perfect retreat.  The blue sky with swishes of clouds made me feel like I was sat there, relaxing and doing my heart math.

It also has a lovely quote… ‘When we stop re-reading the last chapter of our life, we leave room to write a new one’ Tamara Levitt.  Such inspirational words.

Putting the jigsaw together was tricky.  As I always do with a jigsaw, I put the four edges together.  Then the fun began, after all, a lot of blue but it really was relaxing.  Each jigsaw piece is easy to pick up and place and is made to sit and fit extremely well when they slot together.

Once completed, the jigsaw measure approximately 18 inches by 24 inches / 60.96 centimetres x 45.72 centimetres.

Each piece of the jigsaw was highly durable and made very well.

GOOD TO KNOW

Suitable for ages from 8 upwards

The picture of the jigsaw is that of Jasper Lake.  I decided to do some research as I was curious as to where this river was.  It was lovely to find out that it is a lake located in the Rockies of Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada and it is actually a part of the Athabasca River, where the river broadens out.

Would I recommend this puzzle?  Most definitely and at just £10.00 from Argos, it really is worth it.  Such a strong and durable puzzle and a very relaxing one to look at whilst putting it together as well as when it is completed.  You can find it by clicking on the following link:-
