We went to the Table Table Halfway House in Dunstable on a Saturday early evening. There were 8 of us. My parents, me, my husband and our 4 sons aged 11, 4 and 1 year old twins. Someone of every age for the review.

We had a nice table with clean high chairs (unusual in restaurants!) The waitress was friendly and helpful but not too pushy or naggy.

We ordered drinks while we chose our food – they came quickly.

We all had a starter and main course. The food was really nice, hot and fresh and our waitress knew the menu well. My 11 year old son who is an expert said they do the best ribs. I swapped my veg for salad and my chips for mushrooms and they were fine with it.  Even though it was quite busy all the food got to the table at the same time. Our waitress was attentive and got more drinks etc… as needed. The children finished off with delicious ice cream.

Overall it was a really pleasant experience. Nice surroundings, decor and atmosphere. (Nice posh loo!!) They cater for couples and big groups and there was even people there just for a drink in the bar.

I would give it 4/5. The only negative I can think of is there isn’t much parking.

Rating: 4/5
