Strictly Briks 6”x6” Stackable Baseplates with 50 Stackers Review

Reviewed by Debbie Talbot

My children love construction toys, so I snapped up this set of Strictly Briks when offered the review. The set arrived quickly, in minimal packaging, but still in perfect condition. The set consists of a grey baseplate, blue baseplate and a green baseplate and then 50 stackers in the same colours. The set is not suitable for children under 3 years. I must admit, I liked that the smaller pieces were not too tiny.

In the bag are handy instructions on how to build your construction into a tower. Children, however, are only limited by their imagination as you can build in whichever way you like. Once you have finished playing for the day, the bricks and baseplates take up such a small space in my toy storage drawers.

You could create a whole city of Strictly Briks as there are many other sets available. The set we received has many hours of play value. There are 36 different colours available: basic colours, extended colours, clear colours and metallic colours. For those who want to take their bricks with them, a mat and travel bag are available. I cannot wait to buy more sets to try out. The Tower Construction Set is on my list as it looks amazing. I think that the set could be also played with in conjunction with other toys. The base plates would make an excellent runway for my boy’s aeroplanes or a car park for their cars, possibly even extend the garden of their dolls house or be built into an extension or car port.

Strictly Briks would make a fantastic Christmas gift idea.
