Bulldog Classic Read Face Scrub Review

Reviewed by Craig Young

On being told I was reviewing Bulldog Classic Read Face Scrub, my initial thought was I may as well just start writing this now, seeing as I already regularly use this product and am very familiar with it. The wife likes to buy me the Bulldog gift sets at Christmas, which was how I first got hooked on this brand. But it was just as well I didn’t get ahead of myself, as it is the face wash I use and not the scrub. So this was indeed a brand new product for me to trial

The scrub is in very similar packaging to the products I have used before. It contains essential oils, shea butter, olive seed and oat kernel. The latter two I am assuming are to help to gently exfoliate the skin. I was using this as a standalone product, although as I know there are other things available, it may be that it is part of a bigger skin care routine. It actually exceeded my expectations, leaving my face feeling soft, smooth and looking really clean, better than using the face wash alone.

From now on I will be buying the face scrub instead.

The classic read set also comes with a classic book and I received The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells, other titles are available (Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson comes with the moisturiser, The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle comes with the Face Wash and The Time Machine by H.G. Wells comes with the sensitive moisturiser).
