SpecSavers Fundraising Charity Event in Teignmouth
Teignmouth Specsavers, located at 4 Bank Street, is attempting to break a world record by conducting eye examinations for 33.5 hours to raise money for world sight charity, Vision Aid Overseas. Local residents are invited to the store to participate in the challenge on World Sight Day, Thursday 13 October, by booking an eye test on the day. To further increase funds to the charity, the store will also travel 56 miles on a treadmill, symbolising the average distance Zambian has to travel to receive quality eyecare.
