Spaghetti Western Orchestra Review

Spaghetti Western Orchestra

Wow – what a fabulous and inspiring night!

To be honest, we arrived at The Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays unsure of what we were going to see, and to be honest, we could never have imagined how good it would be!

The music of Ennio Morricone’s Western classics conjures up images of dusty desserts and Clint Eastwood looking mean and moody – but how could this be transformed into an international show? Five men from Australia, over 100 instruments, bags full of comedy and lashing of talent – that’s how!

Hilarious interpretations of the Western sound effects are created by ‘playing’ coat hangers, crushing cereal, bicycle pumps, nail clippers – to name but a few, all cleverly mixed together with instruments to create Spaghetti Western classics such as The Good The Bad and The Ugly and For A Few Dollars More!

We had a fabulous night – it was thoroughly entertaining!

This show needs to be ‘heard to be believed!’
