Some Guy Who Kills People is a slasher/comedy film about Ken Boyd (Kevin Corrigan), a lonely comic-book nerd, who is not long out of a mental hospital after trying to commit suicide after being tortured and bullied at school by the basketball team. He lives at home with his constantly disappointed mother (Karen Black) who is dating the town Sheriff (Barry Bostwick).
Ken just wants to be left alone and miserable and passes his time by working in an ice cream parlour and drawing his comic book pictures. Eventually he meets an English woman (Lucy Davis) and his estranged 11 year old daughter Amy (Ariel Gade) comes back into his life so all is good until the men who tortured him at school start to be brutally murdered.
Overall, I found this to be quite an enjoyable film even with the corny jokes by the Sheriff and his deputy at the murder scenes that actually seemed to work. With a good plot, some good plot twists to keep you guessing and some good acting, especially from Corrigan and Gade, it is worth watching and the comedy is not overdone to the point of being silly.
Gory and funny and I would recommend seeing it.
