Satisfyer Luxury Prêt-à-porter Vibrator Review

So, I was not really sure what to expect when I got asked to review the Satisfyer Luxury Prêt-à-porter Vibrator, but after reading the infamous grey books (you all know the ones I mean), I thought it was time to embrace the new movement and talk openly about our bedroom toys.

Often a taboo subject amongst friendship groups but discussed openly in the modern-day romance novels, I think most people reading this review will have a perceived idea of vibrators; the way they look, what they do and also their size! However, I think this may be slightly different to those we envisage when the word “vibrator is discussed”. It is not a large, rubber object that you would find to hand in your draw, but a simple and elegant vibrator which comes with a pouch to enable discrete storage or carrying in your luggage on holiday!

An anonymous, grey parcel arrived and inside was a black, and rose gold box which was not flimsy and could be easily used to store the new toy. Once opening the box, I realised that the vibrator had in fact some charge, so I was able to see how it worked following the simple instructions. It is really easy to work, there are 2 setting buttons with an easy + and – button to increase intensity (11 different settings) or sensual vibration programme (there are 10 different programmes!). The vibrator can easily be charged via a magnetic charging cable (supplied) and USB plug (not supplied, but if you have a mobile phone then you probably have one), it takes around 1 hour to charge up fully, and I am not sure how long the battery life is, but I assume you wouldn’t need to charge it up all the time.

This vibrator is designed to be light, and easily used, and comfortable to hold (it is made out of leather and ultra-soft skin-friendly silicone). It has as whisper mode, but I would say that I found this mode slightly louder than I would have anticipated and therefore not as discrete as you would maybe like.

Using it is exciting, by yourself or involving your partner in the fun, while not being too heavy to hold. The different levels of vibration and pressure-wave stimulation ramp up easily, bringing you to different levels of excitement with ease, all at the touch of the handy button. And charging it with the magnetic USB cable is simple, you don’t have to keep a supply of batteries handy (having none handy when you need them can be a frustrating problem).

The powerful motor isn’t as quiet as I would have hoped for, but overall it is a luxury toy that will leave you smiling and happy. A luxury that every woman should have.
