I always get excited when there is a new toy on the block and when I heard about these, I just had to review them and boy was I really excited to receive a huge bundle of Schleich Eldrador figures and not just 1 or 2 mini creatures but 15 of them.  WOW, just WOW, I was like a kid in a sweet shop (I am nearly 53) lol.

Not hearing of these toys before, I wanted to give the review and the toys the justice it and they deserved, so I did do a bit of research.

* I was surprised to learn that the brand dates back to 1935 by a gentleman named Friedrich Schleich in Schwäbisch Gmünd.  He is one of the largest toy manufacturers in Germany today and the leading international provider of realistic animal figures. The design of the figures and play worlds, the manufacturing of the production tools and also the quality and safety tests are performed in Germany to this day. Production is carried out at the company’s headquarters in Schwäbisch Gmünd as well as other production sites abroad*.

I found both the Eldradors to be very strong and robust.  The quality of them are amazing, nothing flimsy or cheap about them at all.  They stood the test of time being thrown about, dropped on the floor, smashed against each other in play and were not too big to handle, in fact, they sat and fit nicely in the palm on my two grandsons who are 6 and 9 years old.  The same can be said for the Mini Creatures.

I have to say the attention to detail in this toys are phenomenal, the colours are great and makes for perfect colour, eye and educational learning

All the Mini Creatures in the Eldrador Mini Creatures Series 1 fits in all four of the Eldradors, these are Lavea, Ice, Stone and Jungle Robots.  Each of the robots have their own weapon but you can change then over if you wish.

Out of the Eldrador collection (there is Lava, Ice, Stone and Jungle) – I received Ice and Stone and 15 mini creatures (there are 17 to collect and it was like Christmas Day opening them all to find different ones).  I wanted to find out more about what the characters of these and the mini creatures as they are sealed in bags and are surprises and you do not know what you are getting until you open them and with the Eldradors, there is not anything to say about them.  I was pleasantly surprised to find what I did, it was like a cartoon or movie in the making lol.  In fact, click on this link to find out more

Mini Creatures Blind Bags 81000 – Series 1

As mentioned, you do not know what you are getting until you open the bag.  The bag contains 1 figure belonging to either Lava, Stone or Jungle world.

Each bag contains one figurine from the Lava, Ice, Stone or Jungle world.  We had fun changing then around into the robots and we also discovered that they can be stacked on top of each other, the boys loved it.  Word has it, that there is a Golden Mini Hero, if you are lucky enough to find him, keep hold of him, as he is known as the Legendary Hero of all the Mini Creatures.

Warning

None of these toys are suitable for children under 3 years.

Suitable for children between 7-12 years

Like all toys, I advise to supervise them whilst playing. I did this especially as my youngest grandson is only 6 years old.

Would I recommend these?

Absolutely and cannot wait to buy more of them for my grandsons for stocking fillers at Christmas.

Rating: It is a definite 5 out of 5 from me all round.
