Schleich Griffin Knight with Bow Review
Griffin Knight with Bow

We were really pleased to be sent this Schleich Knight with Bow to review. My girls are 5 years old and have several of the Schleich models and we are used to the quality and detail that Schleich provide.
The model is approximately 3” tall (I would have measured it exactly but it is currently being needed to defend the honour of a fairy princess in the dolls-house!) and consists of a standing knight in blue and gold fantasy armour shooting a bow and arrow. This particular figure is part of a range of Knight figures, some individual models and some mounted on horses but would fit in nicely with any other figures you may have at home.
Despite having a fairly small base the knight stands securely on both hard surfaces and carpet and is beautifully modelled and painted. I love the detail that Scleich put into their figures, even the face which is mostly hidden by a helmet is precisely painted. The model is also fairly robust and stands up well to fairly active play. The joy of these figures is that they encourage free play, the only limits are a child’s imagination hence despite having a perfectly acceptable castle to defend the Griffin Knight is currently resident in the dolls-house. The quality speaks for itself and whether as a stand-alone model or part of the extended range this model would fit in with any child’s collection whether boy or girl.
I can strongly recommend this figure.
