Gin Mare have this exclusive patio spot in The Hoxton Hotel’s trendy Mediterranean pop-up bar. Serving savoury (but delicious!) gin cocktails, this 3 day event (running from Tuesday to Friday at 7pm) introduces you to the Gin Mare way of serving summer coolers. We tried the mango and black pepper cocktail first, which might sound odd, but the mango is more refreshing and blends with the gin more sympathetically than citrus fruits and the pepper takes the edge off the gin. You can really taste both flavours in every glass!
The Mediterranean bar is decorated with vine leaves and olive trees, reminiscent of a Tuscan sun spot with marble tables and wicker chairs.
The young Hoxton Hotel vibe adds to the atmosphere, with the City young descending on the bar after hours. The gins are an added bonus to the relaxed vibe, and if you’re open to trying new cocktail flavours, this is certainly a pop-up you’ll be glad you found.
So get down and try out the Gin Mare pop-up bar at the Hoxton Hotel before its gone!
