We have had a lot of water babies in the family over the years, and I have to say, this brand is by far the best we have used. Nothing else comes close.
Our little grandson loves the water, he swims every day and has swimming lessons three times a week, so I was very excited to see how the Splash About brand compared with other brands we have used and are currently using.
A premium vest without a premium price! The thought that has gone into the quality, comfort and design of this vest certainly does not go unnoticed, and it is by far the best swimming vest I have used.
The fabric is very light and soft, without compromising strength or durability. Against the skin, it is beautifully smooth. The stitching is absolutely phenomenal, by far the best I have seen in all the swimwear I have used before. Nothing about this rubs on the skin or causes any irritations.
In addition, the vest is fully lined, giving you and little ones that extra security knowing they will be both comfortable and especially protects skin from the sun.
Designed with a great and easy to use zip, it slides on and off without any restrictions. It fits really well against the body and when in the water, the stretch in it means it gives the little ones the confidence to move freely and comfortably. I love the long sleeves and the height of the neck, particularly for when it will be worn in the warmer and sunnier weather.
The company claims the vest is chlorine resistant. the vests are chlorine resistant. I do not know what the longevity of this will be, however, during the 5 days used, the vest was worn and washed 7 times, 5 x 30 minutes swimming for fun in the morning and 2 x 30 minutes swimming lessons early evening. Each time, the vest stood the test of time and performed in every way it is described. I was very impressed! The drying time is very impressive too.
After washing, the vest came out looking and feeling brand new. The shape and elasticity remained perfectly intact.
I will be interested to see how the vest wears and washes over a longer period of time. If it stands up to what the company claims; the vest is chlorine resistant., this will be very cost-effective.

There are an array of colours and designs to choose from. I had the Neon Blue, which was a bold, vibrant and fun colour.
During the time I tested the vest, I am very impressed. In the longer term, I hope it continues to be as impressive and is as reliable as the company claim.

Rinse and hand wash only in cool water, roll in a towel to disperse excess water and dry away from direct heat / sunlight.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
There are a number of sizes available, from 1-2 years, up to 6-7 years.
We had Size: 2 years. My grandson is coming up for 2 years and fitted really well and for him to grow into as he gets that bit older.
