I visited the Premier Inn Chessington, with my teenage grandson and 2 very excited granddaughters on August 18th 2016. Located in a leafy suburb, the hotel is in a perfect location to visit Chessington World of Adventures, which is a short stroll of 5 or 6 minutes, from the hotel.
There was ample space to park, and we were immediately greeted by the friendly helpful staff and quickly checked in. The hotel has recently undergone some nice renovations, and our rooms was really fresh and new, the girls were totally delighted with the towels carefully made into swans.
The room was really spacious, there was one delightfully comfy king-size bed and 2 single beds, and there was still plenty of space, the TV which had Freeview with 80 channels, sound was limited, which I thought was a nice touch, as nobody wants to be woken by next doors TV. The weather was stifling the day we arrived and the staff had already provided a large electric fan, another nice little touch. We had teas making facilities, a hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. Later in the evening the carpark was full but the sound quality in the room was great, after about 9 we were not disturbed at all.
Meals are provided in the Beefeater next door, which is a nice airy restaurant with attentive staff. When we arrived we upgraded our bed and breakfast to include dinner, it cost £16 per person for the adult’s menu, and included most of the items on the main menu plus either a dessert or starter and a choice of several drinks, including the refill option.
The breakfast buffet was also in the Beefeater, there was a huge choice and everything was continuously topped up so there was no hanging around.
We would definitely visit this hotel again and would recommend to friends, we had a very enjoyable and conformable stay.
