This book is written by Sita Ram Singh from Delhi University. It is a paperback which has 208 pages in total and 14 chapters. The author has been associated with Astrology for 12 years and this book goes into specific detail of how Indian Astrology works and how it is regarded as a Divine Science.  The book goes into a lot of detail and also shows very detailed charts on most pages.  Some of the chapters covered in the book are Horoscopes, Planets, Timing of Events, Lucky Births, Lagna, Bhava & Varga charts. The author goes in great detail to explain what each planet is called and why and also the meanings of the planets and what they stand for.  He also writes in detail how the horoscope works and the meanings of the Zodiac signs and how the different signs represent personality traits and attributes in people.  Not being very knowledgeable of Astrology I personally didn’t understand some aspects of the book and a lot of terminology used. Having said that I feel this book would be of a great interest for someone looking to get into Astrology or wanting to further their knowledge of Astrology. I feel that the book is well written and the author takes time in giving clear descriptions of the charts and the Indian meanings of Astrology.
