I am a mum of an almost 2.5 year old who I am currently starting to potty train, and a 5 year old.

I received the potette plus potty in a bright pink colour to make it appealing to my daughter who loves pink (but it also comes in blue and a neutral colour). When it first arrived my daughter loved the fact that she got a new potty. I have been trying to potty train her for a couple months now but nothing has made her want to sit on the potty. As soon as I opened up the packaging she asked if she could use the potty. It did take a little bit of time to adjust  and fit the disposable liner on to the potty but once it was on, it worked well.

The 2in1 potette is good for both on the go and at home use and is easy to go between being a stand alone potty and one you place on top of the toilet. My daughter did find it a little uncomfortable when she tried to use it on the toilet due to the fact that she couldn’t sit comfortably enough but using it as a potty was great!

The potette came with 2 disposable bags so you would have to purchase more if you were to use this potty for regular use and not just for travel. I was always one to say that I would never carry a potty around with me while potty training but the potette is not only very portable, but comes with it’s own travel bag to make it easy to carry around. It folds down with 2 clicks of the legs and can then be stored in the plastic travel bag ready to use for the next time or stored away easily.

They do recommend replacing the disposable liners as soon as you take one off which makes it easy for the next use which I would agree with as you don’t have a lot of time to set up and put the bag on when your little one has to use the potty. I would also recommend buying and storing some extra liners to hand as you do have to change the bag after every use.

I would also recommend that you make sure the legs are snapped in place before having your toddler sit down so that it doesn’t not drop and snap into place while your toddler is sitting on it. There is a click that happens to let you know that the legs are secure in place which makes it easy and safe. It is easy to convert the stand alone potty to the toilet seat by clicking the legs and flattening them out to sit on the toilet. I do think that this is another great feature (especially during the times we are in) so that your toddler does not have to touch the any toilet seats. This option makes it not only portable but sanitary as well and no one has to know that you are walking around with a potty.

All in all I would recommend this potty. I would recommend it mainly for travel purposes as it makes it portable and more sanitary when in public spaces but it also is a great at home potty.
