We are all looking forward to Easter this year and while my biggest girl (6 years old) is all about the chocolate eggs, I also have a 1 year old who we weaning and we are trying to keep her away from sugar and unhealthy foods as long as we can.
It has been proving difficult to find a suitable non chocolate gift for our little one, so when the opportunity to review a personalised Easter plate from Rocket and Fox (editor’s note – one of the sellers on Amazon Handmade) came up I was delighted to volunteer.
The plate can be purchased from Amazon or directly from the Rocket and Fox website. It features the sweetest Easter Bunny sitting amongst the eggs and underneath there are 4 lines of text that can be personalised, this is really clear and easy to do on ordering, with 4 text boxes to complete.

The plate arrived just a few days after choosing my message and was packaged in a cardboard sleeve protected with bubble wrap. I was pleased with the quality, the plate is made of plastic- BPA free I am pleased to note. The image and writing are printed onto the plate and the colours are bright and clear.
The plate was a little smaller than I expected at 7.5 inches diameter but not a bit issue for little eaters.
I showed the plate to my little one at breakfast time and she happily pointed and chattered away something nonsensical to or about the bunny, she was happy enough, and ate her toast from it cheerfully, then showed no discrimination as she threw it on the floor as she does with all her crockery, the plate survived unscathed and passed the toddler test but it was a shame about my clean floors.
The only issue I can think to mention is that the plate is best to be hand washed. I think the image will fade if you put it in the dishwasher.
The plate can be purchased from Amazon for £14.99 perhaps it is slightly more than I would like to spend on this item but as a one off Easter gift it’s not entirely unreasonable.
Although the plate is £12.99 on the website once you add on postage and packaging it’s actually cheaper to get from Amazon with free delivery!
As a present for a little one it would definitely be a easy win, I imagine all parents would find this an adorable gift for their tots and even better with the personalisation, I know most parents of weaning babies and toddlers would much prefer this to chocolate which we would likely end up eating ourselves.
I had not heard of Rocket and Fox before and it’s worth a look at their website they see a massive range of personalised gifts for all occasions, I would not hesitate to order from them in the future.
