There is nothing like a relaxing bath at the end of a long day so I was very pleased to be able to try out Olverum bath oil, a luxurious bath oil made with natural essential oils.
I received one bath sachet samples, 5ml in each, but if you purchase the product it comes in a lovely clear glass bottle with understated writing across the front, it looks very classy. Olverum contains Pine, Eucalyptus, Lemon and Lavender oils to relax the mind and body and relieve tension.
The first time I used the bath oil I put a few drops in, 5ml is recommended, closed the door and let the bath run while I did a few chores. When I came back a few minutes later the bathroom was filled with a gorgeous aroma exactly like being in an expensive spa. After a lovely long soak my muscles definitely felt more relaxed and my skin felt soft and supple from the oil a perfect remedy for dry skin.
Whilst not the cheapest bath oil on the market working out around 80 pence per bath, it does feel very luxurious and definitely far cheaper than a spa yet you feel like you have the same end result, soft feeling skin, relaxed muscles, clear sinuses and a great night’s sleep.
The 200ml bottle contains enough oil for 40 baths and comes in at around £37 pounds so would make a perfect Christmas gift idea , there is also a 125ml bottle if your budget doesn’t stretch quite as far as the large bottle. Olverum can be purchased directly online or from selected high street shops, see the website for details of stockists.
All in all a fantastic luxury feeling product that I thoroughly recommend as a gift for loved ones or a treat for yourself.
RRP: £23.50 (125ml) / £36.95 (200ml)
