Noughty Tough Cookie Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Reviewed by Debbie Talbot

I made the mistake of dying my hair blonde around 12-18 months ago and I have been regretting it ever since. I had to cut it much shorter due to its condition and it’s looked thinner and lifeless since. I was therefore delighted to be offered Noughty Tough Cookie Shampoo and Touch Cookie Conditioner to review.

Noughty Tough Cookie Shampoo

I have noticed that my hair does tend to be more brittle and break more easily these days, so I was delighted to come across this Noughty Tough Cookie Shampoo (RRP: £6.99). I can react to some products so finding out that this product was 97% natural was a huge plus. It is sulphate and silicone free.

After using it for a while, I would agree with the brand’s claims that it strengthens hair and extends its survival and reduces breakage. Its smell is very pleasant but not too overpowering. The look and consistency of the shampoo itself is great.

Noughty’s website informed me that the shampoo has a power trio of antioxidant rich bilberry, sea buckthorn and cloudberry and anti-pollution technology. I would also agree with Noughty’s claim that it gently cleanses.

I think that this product is fantastic. It goes a long way too so the 250ml should last a good while. The shampoo is easy to squeeze out of the tube. I love the simple design used on the packaging. The colour choices work so well together. One of the biggest positives for me is that it is cruelty free and vegan friendly.

Noughty Tough Cookie Conditioner

This product too is 97% natural. It comes in a tube which makes it easy to use when in the bath or shower. My hair has really got me down over the last 12-18 months. It used to be so thick and full of life but then went to looking so lifeless and dull. This Tough Cookie Conditioner (RRP: £6.99) is a godsend. I don’t about you, but if feel as if I look nice it definitely lifts my spirits. The 250ml tube should last a good while as you don’t seem to need much to have good results. I love the fact that this product is both sulphate and silicone free.

I would agree with Noughty’s claim that it reduces breakage, strengthens weakened hair and extends survival. It’s packed with the same power trio of ingredients as with the Tough Cookie Shampoo and like it also has anti-pollution technology. As with the shampoo, the conditioner is both cruelty free and vegan friendly.

I think both of these products are wonderful. I would buy these and other Noughty products. They really know their stuff when it comes to hair and have a useful quiz on their website. I was amazed to read that their experts have over 80 combined years of product development experience. I think that the price is reasonable. It is not the cheapest shampoo or conditioner out there, but the price is reasonable to reflect the quality of the products and their functionality. This shampoo and conditioner have made my year and helped give me my confidence back.
