Nine Days To Armageddon by Mike Carter Review

Reviewed by Debbie Tasker

It’s twelve days to Christmas but the world is unaware it is only nine days to Armageddon. Beneath the Greenlandic ice cap an enormous piece of tectonic plate is resurfacing after thousands of years awaiting its return beneath the Earth’s surface. When it returns in the Arctic Ocean it unleashes a devastating mega-tsunami upon the world. In London a vengeful British terrorist, a Muslim convert is plotting to attack World Leaders at the G20 Summit with a deadly nerve agent which is due to take place in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik. As the two events occur, the world is suddenly experiencing a terrifying apocalyptic ordeal threatening to destroy mankind.

A real nail biting and enjoyable read, full of suspense and action, a definite read for sci-fi readers. The two main plots are cleverly interlinked and are well explained, full of factual information which culminates in a devastating natural disaster.  It is an easy read, quite a captivating style and is very up-to-date with current global warming, terrorism, and other world affairs. With it being 2012 now, certainly a thought provoking book, is Armageddon approaching? And what if this did really happen. A delightful and interesting ending for New York City and Blackpool plus the re-emergence of the end of days cult!
