I was so excited to receive this Nerf N-Strike Elite Mega CycloneShock Blaster. I’m such a big kid at heart and couldn’t wait to rip into it and get it loaded up. It comes supplied with the Nerf N-Strike Elite Mega CycloneShock Blaster, 6 Mega Whistler Darts and instructions. It arrived quickly and very well packaged. The gun looks good, it wasn’t heavy or too big and was easy to load. Perfect.
All loaded up I took to the garden. We have a very long garden so I was surprised that they fired nearly to the end of it so they are great for long range targets (the darts can reach up to 90 metres / 27 feet). Once loaded into the rotating drum you can fire 6 darts before needing to reload and the darts make a screaming sound as they whistle through the air before hitting their target! So you hear them before they hit you making it much more fun.
My nephew totally loved this as he’s a huge Nerf fan. He says this one is his favourite gun now. My niece now wants the same one so they can play together as her one doesn’t fire as long distance as this one. All in all it’s 5 out of 5 from both children… and adults.
