Namco Funscape (Trafford Centre) Review
We recently went bowling to Namco Station in the Trafford Centre as an after school treat. There were 5 of us in our party, 3 adults and 2 excited children. When we arrived we changed our shoes and then got on the lane we had booked straight away. We were given a metal frame for the children to roll their bowling balls down. Namco staff quickly put the sides of the lane up as requested due to their being children in our party. We thoroughly enjoyed our two games of bowling and it got very competitive. The children especially liked when the lights were dimmed and the disco lights were turned on. Staff members were on hand quickly during our game if we had any questions.
Whilst we did not eat at Namco that evening we did have a look at the menu and found the prices to be very reasonable. In between our turns at bowling we watched the people smiling in delight as they drove on the dodgems, something we would love to try out on another visit. The choice of video games was fantastic and it took me back to my childhood. I was happy and relieved to see how clean and tidy the toilet facilities were.
Prices were very reasonable all round. A Family Ticket, 2 games of bowling for four people (one must be under 16 years of age) costs just £19.95 off peak and £29.95 peak (peak being Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Bowling parties are £12.95 per child with bowling, food, unlimited squash and dodgems. For more information and current prices please see www.namcofunscape.com/#/manchester.
