Morrisons Turkey Dinner Review

Reviewed by Michelle Wright
As my in-laws were visiting in December we decided to have a Christmas Day meal – with all the trimmings in the middle of the month! The Morrisons Christmas range was a god send! Simple, easy to cook and stress free – perfect when you have a house full!
Morrisons sent the turkey joint and trimmings for us to review and all we had to add were a few of our own vegetables! Our dinner consisted of:
Morrisons British Turkey breast joint – with sage stuffing.
20 minutes per kg plus (70 minutes)
Brussels sprouts and chestnuts with thyme butter
4 minutes and 30 seconds in microwave
Baby Parsnips with parsley butter and a honey glaze
30 minutes
Goose fat roast potatoes with a sprig of rosemary to scatter
55 minutes
Sachet of Turkey gravy
…and we added our own carrots and green beans.
All 7 of us sat around our ‘Christmas table’ to enjoy our feast! The meal was delicious! The turkey with moist and tasty – and there was plenty of meat for 7 mouths and with no waste, this is a great option for Christmas Day; the vegetables were very tasty and for the first time ever (with a little help from Morrisons) I actually served delicious and plump parsnips (mine are always a disaster and generally resemble cinnamon sticks!).The meal was finished with very tasty gravy drizzled on top.
The whole meal was so simple and totally delicious – I will certainly be getting my Christmas food from Morrisons and recommending their Christmas range to our friends and family.
Delicious.
