I am just starting getting back into my fitness, so it seemed very timely when the opportunity arose to review the Mirafit Gym Bundle. As a busy working dad, it can be difficult to find the time to get out of the house for a meaningful session at the gym, so what better than getting the chance to review some great home gym equipment.
The bundle arrived relatively quickly and I received 4 individual packages, so it was like Christmas had arrived early in our house. The bundle contained the following items:
Mirafit Rotating Push Up Bars
Mirafit Power Ab Roller & Knee Pad
Mirafit 15mm Thick Exercise Floor Mat
Mirafit 3m Adjustable Ball Bearing Speed Rope
The kit came well packaged with the speed rope being package in a sealed plastic pouch, the rotating push up bars and Ab roller with the knee pad were each packed in their own boxes and the floor mat was contained within a plastic cover.
The rotating push up bars worked great. I was able to get into better positions and intentionally rotate into and out of the push to work different muscles. There was no wrist strain or pain and made the exercise more comfortable. I like the size of the bars as the wide base ensures the energy is distributed over a large area ensuring it remains sturdy. If I could change anything about these, it would be the orange plastic grip. It makes the product feel cheap and I feel a rubber material would have been a better alternative.
The power Ab roller is a great sturdy product I was easily able to work out my abs. The grips are made of a soft PU foam. The two wheels widen the roller surface, making the process smoother, and balanced. The product easily dismantles so is perfect to take with you when you’re on the go or you can put it in a bag if you want to take with you to exercise outdoors.
The speed rope is a good quality robust design with a ball bearing swivel mechanism allowing for fluid and fast repetitions. The lightweight design makes it a great piece of fitness equipment to travel with so if you want to keep up with your fitness regime when on holiday, this might be a good option. The rope can quickly be adjusted at either end to suit individuals of different heights, which I think is a great inclusive idea. Constructed from a coated metal cable, it feels like a quality rope compared to more traditional style ropes.
The Mirafit 15mm Thick Exercise Floor Mat is lightweight and long enough to provide a good workout area for most individuals. This is a must if you want to make your floor workouts more comfortable allowing you to complete more repetitions to get the best out of your training session. It rolls up neatly and comes with 2 bands to keep it tightly rolled up for easy storage.
The RRP for this bundle is £49.95 which I think is great value if you’re looking for a starter pack for your home gym. You can buy each individual piece of equipment on the Mirafit website – if you were to buy these four pieces of equipment separately it would cost £57.
This Mirafit Gym Bundle would make an ideal gift this upcoming Christmas, for anyone looking for some reasonably priced home gym equipment.
