Clarol Silver Serum Review

Having extremely sensitive skin, I always struggle to find facial products that a kind, gentle and suitable for my skin and I am always wary and cautious of any new product I try.

I had never heard of this product before and so I set to work to do some research and was not disappointed,

ABOUT THE SILVER SERUM

This comes in a beautiful silver grey and purple tube. The contents of the product is 50ml and the content of the front of the tube is very high catching,

Upon opening the tube and placing some of the serum onto the back of my hand, I noticed it was of a silver grey colour. The colour would be from the anti-microbial silver that is one of the ingredients.

There is not an over powering smell of perfume which I like. Unlike other serums I have tried, this is not like thick or sticky. At first, I felt it was a bit watery BUT…. I soon realised that this was brilliant. It soaked into my skin and felt so soft and silky. I did not need to massage it into the skin too much as it soaked in naturally. This is a good thing as serums need time to settle

I left it a short while and then proceeded to rub over my hand again to see if any residue would come off, none at all. Again, I had that soft and silky feel with no shine or oiliness. The serum dried in a matt form and was lovely. I left it on my hand for the rest of the day before placing it onto my face just in case I reacted. Thankfully I did not. That same night, I gave my face a good cleanse, tone, exfoliation and mask before I applied the serum onto my face. WOW! My skin instantly felt hydrated and decided that the first 2 nights, I was not going to put moisturiser on, just to see how my skin coped with a new product. 

I woke up the next morning and was delighted that my face had not reacted and felt really soft. The second day and night, I just cleansed and toned before putting the serum on and again. Throughout the day, my skin felt hydrated and moisturised and the next morning, my skin felt lovely. It was the third and fourth day and night that I decided to put my moisturisers on too. During these days and the following mornings, my skin was looking and feeling amazing.

If you have a weekly or twice weekly routine of using and exfoliator and mask, make sure you use these first before applying the serum.

*You only need a tiny amount of the serum, honestly, it is such good product that a little really does go a long way.
