I was recently luck enough to receive the Maped Helix Kidy Board to review with my daughter Kate age 9.

Kate has Autism and Learning Difficulties, so this product really caught my eye.

Kate enjoys school and loves having school work to do at home. Sometimes when she doesn’t have homework to do she finds herself using every scrap of paper in the house to write and draw on.

The Kidy Board is fantastic, it is a transparent board surrounded by a blue rubber frame which keeps it in place and comes with a non-permanent marker and cleaning cloth as well as 5 activity sheets with different exercises for the user to use.

Kate has used the Kidy Board so many times since it arrived and really enjoyed using it to practice her number and letter formations.

Usually when Kate makes a mistake she will screw up the paper and restart afresh, thankfully with the Kidy Board any mistakes can be wiped away without waste which is environmentally friendly.

As well as the number and letter sheet the pack also included a fun maze, a space themed picture, a cute panda and instructions on how to get more sheets to print and also shows a small advert for the Marker’ Peps pens which can be used alongside the Kidy Board.

As a parent I am thoroughly impressed with this item and cannot wait to buy some more Maped Helix items.

Rating: 5/5 thumbs_up
