Lily Alone by Jacqueline Wilson Review

Reviewed by Louisa Nashir

When Lily is left at home alone with her siblings she is determined the family will stick together and not be broken apart. Lily wants to prove that they don’t need adults around and comes up with a plan. She is going to take her siblings away camping. But will their secret be discovered or will the siblings be able to pull it off?

A well written book that tugs at your heart strings and makes you want to reach out to Lily and her family. Most definitely a child’s book but at the grand old age of 28 I enjoyed reading it and so did the kids. We wouldn’t mind reading more from this author.
