Out of all the Learning Resources Numberblocks, I was especially looking forward to receiving and reviewing this set. Until now, I have reviewed the delightfully cute and adorable soft plush pals, whereas this set is completely different

Before I continue, a big shout out to Learning Resources. I have said it before and I will say it again…. I absolutely love Learning Resources toys.  The selection is amazing and the quality of their items are second to none. Having reviewed a number of Numberblock items (see what I did there) LOL; I was eager to receive Numberblocks One to Five and see how they compare with the items I have reviewed I the past. If you do not know already, Learning Resources have won a many awards back in 2022 and I am not surprised.

I am a really big fan of cognitive and sensory development and Numberblocks One to Five are great for this. They are so bold, striking and loud and really do capture the child’s attention and are always ready to play, get adventurous and they can by letting their little imaginations run wild.

Now, with many young grandchildren, I have obviously heard of CBeebies which we sometimes watch tv when we are together. We do not watch much television as we like to do a lot of interactive and cognitive play but when we do, this is a favourite in our house.

So, how well did this set go down with my great nephew and grandchildren? Well, ages ranging from 3 to 12, great. This set made it great for interactive playtime and really does get their little imaginations going.

The fact that these little characters have moving arms, they make it great for adventurous play, they can be adjusted for changing how they pose and you can leave them standing, whether in play or you can put them on a shelf to display them. What makes these characters even more fun, is when they are being played with and Numberblocks comes on the television. The children mimicked them as they saw them on television, again, making learning fun really interactive, fun and adventurous. It helps with their learning development in so many ways which I think is fantastic.

GOOD TO KNOW
I love the fact that Numberblock 5 has her signature counting hand included in this, the kids love it too.

Learning resources have an array of other Numberblock items and we have so many of them now, I can not encourage anyone enough to have a look and add them as a collection to their children’s imaginative play.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR PLAYFUL PALS
I found washing them in tepid water and leaving them to dry overnight worked brilliantly.

As I have said before with Learning Resources Numberblocks, go for it, they are truly brilliant and what better way to get your child learning math. The only reason for not rating 5/5 is because they are made out of plastic.
