Klunken Primus Stainless Steel Bottle Review

Everyone knows that drinking water is good for you, but getting enough in during your day can be a challenge. Nobody likes a lukewarm water! It has an abundance of benefits including helping with energy, maximizing your physical performance, and it can aid in weight loss. In the last few years it’s become a routine for me to drink plenty whilst working from home, but as we venture back to the office, school or out for leisure activities I want to make sure I can continue this positive habit and what better way that a Klunken Primus Vacuum Bottle.

I selected a black bottle, but there are 8 colours to choose from, something for everyone in your life. When the bottle arrived I put it straight into use, adding some ice and filling it with tap water. For me, keeping a drink cool throughout the day is essential. I would say the ice cubes stayed for around 5-6 hours, which is great, with the drink staying cool much longer. The neck is also wide enough to fit cubes in, where some others I’ve purchased in the past have failed. This wide neck also has the added bonus that it makes it much easier to clean. The bottle itself is 0.5l stainless steel with a screw-top lid that seals well preventing liquid escaping and any desktop spills (of which I’ve had many).

I’ve also tried this bottle with squash and I’m pleased to say it didn’t hold odours at all, which I put down to its stainless steel material. The Klunken Primus is vacuum-sealed, which meant for me I can chuck it in the side of my backpack or lean in my handbag and it didn’t leak at all, which is exactly what you need when out and about, to know that your items aren’t going to be soaked by a bottle leak. A nice addition to the design is the colour matched webbing handle, to make it easier to transport.

The added bonus for me is this bottle is described, on the Primus Equipment website, as food-grade 18/8 stainless steel that keeps beverages not only cold but also warm. I’m forever drinking cold coffees, due to getting calls or being in meetings throughout the day, it drives me absolutely nuts. So it was lovely to be able to drink my coffee, which was kept warm, by this bottle after an hour-long meeting.

The bottle itself is sleek in design and versatile in use. It can be used by the office worker, everyday leisure for walks and out and about and whilst on adventures.

Overall, the Klunken Primus Vacuum Bottle does what it claims in every aspect and I’m delighted with it. It’s in use daily and that’s the best kind of gift. So why not buy yourself or a loved one a bottle and get them into good habits to kick off the new year.
