Fabulous colourful packaging and a free bowl and spoon to enjoy one of our favourite cereals out of.

The item arrived within about two weeks of being allocated and was delivered by courier.  It was packaged in a cardboard box and sealed and secure.  There was no excess packaging and all could be fully recycled.  The item arrived in good condition as the outside packaging was good.

What did you think of the packaging/box design?  On opening the outside packaging, we were presented with a bright yellow keepsake box, it was vibrant and colourful with the Coco Pops logo and a picture of the three different cereals which were included.  We opened the box to find three boxes of cereal and a ceramic bowl with a silver spoon which had coco pops engraved on the handle of the spoon.  The three cereals were Coco Pops Loops, Coco Pops Chocos and Coco Pops MEGA pops.  The boxes all had fun games to cut out and play on the back.  These would be great for younger children and would mean the packaging is being recycled and reused instead of just putting it into the bin.

Kellogg’s have a variety of different cereals and they are available in all supermarkets as well as in other countries. Kellogg’s was originally based in America and was founded by two brothers in 1906 and came to the UK in 1922.

We love Coco Pops in our household, so were excited to receive these and to try the others as we hadn’t seen them before.  The smell of chocolate as you open them always holds memories of my childhood and them being a school holiday treat.  My daughter and I enjoyed sampling them all, mainly my daughter as I’m not a cereal lover anymore. She enjoyed them all but said her favourite was the Coco Hoops, she felt that the CHOCOS were not as chocolaty as the original Coco Pops and the other two in the box.  The milk turns chocolaty and she likes drinking that at the end when she has finished the cereal.  They all had different textures, Coco Pops are quite soft and the CHOCOS were crunchy, the hoops were also crunchy but both tasty.  I don’t tend to buy Kellogg’s anymore as I think they are overpriced and supermarkets now do their own version and for a lot cheaper.  If they are on offer I will occasionally buy them.  Coco Pops are good for all ages and taste nice and chocolaty.

Kellogg’s does not support or condone the use of animal testing which makes all their products cruelty-free.  Coco Pops are not Vegan friendly as they contain vitamin D3 which contains Lanolin, this is the oil glands of sheep that comes from their wool, Coco Pops however are considered vegetarian as it doesn’t kill them to get the Lanolin.
Coco pops are not gluten-free but they have a gluten-free version, they are also not dairy-free as they contain milk powder and condensed skimmed milk.

I like the fact that Coco Pops contain no artificial colours or sweeteners and they have the added vitamins and iron.

Kellogg’s have donated around 100 million servings of their products to children and families in need.

I would recommend these cereals and would definitely look at buying them again, especially if on offer.

I would rate this product 5/5 we loved the packaging it arrived in and my daughter loved having 3 chocolate cereals to try as normally I only allow one.  She really liked the bowl and spoon as well, and it has currently become the favourite to use.

Coco pops can be bought in supermarkets across the country, and vary in price depending on the store and the offers they currently have on at the time.

Rating: 5/5
