Now, for the first time, Kate Mosse will bring the story behind the story of Labyrinth to the stage. To celebrate the milestone 20th anniversary of her international multi-million copy Number 1 bestseller, Kate is taking to the road with her unforgettable one-woman show, Labyrinth Live: Unlocking the Secrets of the Labyrinth. For the uninitiated the show will provide a thrilling introduction to Kate’s award-winning historical adventure fiction. The 33-date tour starts in Stafford on 26 February and runs until 10 April 2025.

With theatre at its most dazzling and immersive, with music, imagery and film, Kate will reveal the history and the mysteries that inspired her novel and take audiences on an epic journey across the breath taking landscape of the Languedoc – of Carcassonne, Toulouse, Chartres and the Pyrenees.

As she takes us back to the brutal 13th-century wars between Catholic and Cathar, and unveils the Ancient Egyptian mythology, 20th-century Nazi-conspiracy theories and modern-day Grail legends that still surround the mountain where the so-called heretics met their fate, Kate will also share the secrets behind her writing, the highs and the lows that helped her conjure up this timeless and beloved modern classic.

First published by Orion in 2005 and translated into 38 languages, Kate Mosse’s Labyrinth quickly became an award-winning international phenomenon. Tom Felton, Jessica Brown Findlay, Vanessa Kirby, Sebastian Stan and John Hurt led the all-star cast of the Scott Free TV adaptation.

Phoenix will publish a lavish new hardcover special edition in February 2025 with a specially commissioned introduction by Sir Ian Rankin and a new afterword by Kate Mosse.
