Jimmy’s World Grill Review

This is a great place for the whole family to eat at, there’s a wide variety of dishes from India, Chinese, Italian to English cuisine.
As this venue is an all you can eat buffet it gives great value for money and children under 4 are free. The hot food is kept at controlled temperature on the buffet & cold food is kept on plenty of ice to keep it cool. As well as over 20 main course buffet stations there were ‘live stations’ where you could get freshly cooked stir fry noodle dishes, pasta etc. as well as the Indian breads like naan & paratha are cooked in a traditional bread oven as you wait, so they don’t sit about getting dry & unappetizing. They have a few speciality dishes like the chicken satay, dimsum & lamb tika for starters, which are delicious, along with loads of other dishes plenty of which are suitable for vegetarians.
Again for main course there’s plenty to choose from for meat eaters & vegetarians alike, so it’s a place where mixed parties can go along & all find plenty of food to eat. They will even give advice & help for anyone who has a food allergy. The dishes are listed with the degree of spiciness & where appropriate the country of origin of the recipe.
Desserts are again buffet style with a huge chocolate fountain to dip fresh fruit or marshmallows into, although on our visit there were no sticks to use for the fountain to dip with, but I’m sure if we had wanted to use it we would have been provided with them. There was a large ice cream station where they would crush a variety of chocolate buttons etc. to sprinkle over the ice creams & you had to stop the chef who was serving from piling your dish as high as he could with ice-cream, or you could chose to have the ice-cream in a cone if you prefer to eat it that way. There were also other desserts such as tiramisu, profiteroles & cheese cake and as our visit was just before Christmas there was stollen & Christmas pudding & cream on offer.
The bar was very well stocked with everything from champagne to bottled beers, cocktails to mocktails & even mini cocktails on offer.
The staff were all friendly & helpful & worked hard to take away dirty dishes & they were sweeping floors & wiping tables regularly to keep everything spotless. They were very quick to point out that each time you visited the buffet that you must take a clean plate, so it kept it all very hygienic.
We had an enjoyable evening & look forward to our next visit to try out different dishes as there was far too much tempting food to eat at one visit.
