What a treat I was in for when I received the Jojoba Company products to review. I had not looked into the Jojoba Company previous to receiving the goods. For some reason I was under the impression that jojoba oil and products were on the more basic end of the scale of beauty products, whoa I was wrong.

I knew as soon as I opened the bag that the products were a cut above the run of the mill products pecking order.

I was so excited at this point, many moons ago I trained as a beauty therapist, I have a love of beauty products, creams, exfoliation scrubs, masks. The packaging that my goods arrived in was lovely.

Simple, clean, classic, white boxes with a pretty red detailing at the top. The products that I received were as follows:

100% Natural Make Up Remover 100ml (RRP £19.99)
A pump action make up removal oil. I was very sceptical that this product would remove all my make up in the couple of pumps that it claims to need on the bottle, so I did as I felt and used more. It did take a little more product, I used more than one cotton wool pad and on each pad I used I pumped 3 times. I was so pleasantly surprised, my make up came off easily and after I had finished I used a toner of my own to remove any residue make up or make up remover and the cotton wool disc was almost clear. Easy to use, a light product that leaves my skin fresh.

Hydrating Day Cream 50ml (RRP £22.95)
This day cream is a light, easily absorbed day cream. It left my skin feeling hydrated even after sleepless nights with a poorly toddler. The cream does have a slight perfume but this did not have any effect on my skin. I usually wear non-perfumed products, so did feel a little dubious as whether I would react but my skin did not even have a tingle. The cream leaves my face feeling so soft.

Intense Overnight Renewal Cream 50ml (RRP £34.95)
Ohhh a luxury, once again a product that has gone awry since the arrival of my little ones, all those extra pounds on myself would seem indulgent, so I was over the moon to get a night cream. As with all night creams I have used, this is a more luxuriant, thicker, intense moisturiser.  After a long day at work and then doing all the home chores a fantastic way to put back what the day has taken away from your skin is an overnight cream. This certainly does not disappoint, again has a slight odour to it but it is not overwhelming. I woke in the morning to a more dewy complexion, I pride myself in my skin. I look after it and usually it looks after me. It certainly did appreciate the extra boost in moisture. A beauty must have.

100% Natural Jojoba Oil 30ml (RRP £12.99)
I wasn’t entirely sure what to do with this product but I had a couple of extreme dry skin moments in the last week and not just with me. My eldest sons hands are starting to feel rough, he is only 9 but the combination of not wearing gloves in sub zero temperatures and then coming into a centrally heated home or school has left an impact on his hands. I must stress that they are not sore in any way, just dry to touch. So I decided to give the oil a trial on him and have massaged it into his little hands. An improvement in the texture of the skin made a big difference. My challenge for the oil is to be able to get my cuticles in a lot better condition, so we have both made a start on sandpaper skin and catching cuticles. The battle is now on! I am betting that the Jojoba oil comes out on top for both of us.

I am so happy that I received the Jojoba Company products to review. I am happy that my preconceptions were blown out of the water and I am more than happy to recommend any of the above products! If the remaining products in their range are half as good then happy shopping people, youthful, soft hydrated skin awaits!
