I was really excited to be sent the Healthy Back Bag to review, as a first time mum, my back has been struggling carrying my bulky changing bag round with me. When the bag arrived, I was not disappointed!
From first use you can see the bag is made from quality material and feels strong and durable. I loved the bright vibrant colour I was sent (red) although all the other colours look great too! The shape of the bag was a bit of a shock, as straight out the packaging, it does look like a hospital kidney bowl, but it is this shape that I learned was essential for the weight distribution that makes this a bag that is healthy for your back.
Once it actually is filled and you are using it, it actually looks really stylish. There is a really handy and easily accessible pocket on the outside which I have been using for my umbrella, but could also be used for a bottle of water. When I opened the bag I was amazed at the multitude of pockets! Perfect for an organised bag! I used the bag as an alternative changing bag, and the amount of pockets was perfect for keeping all the baby essentials separate. The bag strap itself is thick, so very comfortable on your shoulders when carrying the bag in this way, the contents of my bag were quite heavy but there was no digging in! When carrying the bag on your back (multiple ways to wear making this bag very versatile), the zipper is positioned in a way that it can only be opened by the wearer, which was reassuring as I knew my purse was safe. Wearing it on your back is the best way to wear, it really is a comfy bag! You can bring it to your side to open, making it super easy to get to your belongings with no need to take the bag off your back-fantastic design!
My partner also uses it as his gym bag when I am not using it as the design is unisex. He loved that the amount of pockets kept his toiletries separate from his clothes.
At £42 this is a tad expensive, but worth it for the multi-functionality, weight distribution and less strain on your back! I will definitely be taking it away on holiday with me as the material is perfect for the beach, but it is stylish enough to take out on excursions too! I’ve already recommended it to friends.
