Harveys Bristol Cream Review
Harveys Bristol Cream

I have always loved Harveys Bristol Cream anyway, so it was no hardship to try it served in different ways.
It is a fantastic drink on its own, but today for the first time ever I tried it mixed with lemonade, then topped up the glass with chopped fruit, apples, oranges and raisins ~ delicious!
The flavour of the apple juice, along with the chopped apples, oranges and raisins came through the sherry. Really worth a try!
Another suggestion I was given was to slowly heat up 200ml of Harveys Bristol Cream with 500ml of apple juice, six cloves and 50g of vanilla sugar for 15 minutes.
The delicious flavour of the sherry and apple juice, together with the flavour of the cloves and hint of vanilla from the sugar was fantastic, the kitchen smelt lovely, I had mine with a slice of apple. Remember to strain it first to remove the cloves before pouring into glasses, a real winter warmer!
For sherry with a difference pour Harveys Bristol Cream over ice and serve with a slice of fresh orange, very different, but how gorgeous!
I found these suggestions on the Harveys Half Hour Seasonal Suggestions site.
I learned something new today ~ Harveys Bristol Cream is great on its own, but it can be turned into a ‘cocktail’ with the help of a few extra ingredients, or into a mulled spice drink when warmed through. It was always delicious!
I am now wondering what else I can mix Harveys Bristol Cream with? I have a lot of experimenting to do! On second thoughts, perhaps I had better wait until tomorrow before I try any more as I have had several small glasses of sherry tonight!
Harveys Bristol Cream has always been a favourite of mine and always will be. I suggest you buy yourself a bottle and experiment with it!!
