I must admit to being someone who really likes trying out new tech products. When I was offered the Halo Capsule Vacuum Bundle Deal to review, I jumped at the chance. The product arrived quickly, well packaged and in perfect condition. I couldn’t wait to get started unpacking the contents of the box which were:
- Vacuum cleaner
- Free pack of 26 dust pouches
- Complimentary wall dock
- 3 attachments
Looking at the brand’s website, it is clear that they have put the bundle together with the aim of customers not having to spend money to use the vacuum cleaner in the first year. In fact, the website states that there is a 28%+ saving compared to paying full price for those items. I am always keen on anything which saves me money. There are free returns, saving you the cost of paying for a courier should you decide to return the item. There is a generous 2 year warranty too.
The delivery turnaround mentioned on the website is fast too, delivery in 1-2 working days.
Having unpacked the vacuum cleaner, I was relieved to find out how easy it was to assemble. It looks fantastic too. I have to admit that I like products that look really good as well as serving a practical purpose so this ticked both boxes for me.
The website tells me that this vacuum cleaner is 32V in cool grey and natural carbon fibre. It has a generous 1.6 litre capacity which is great as it does not need emptying too often. The 60 minutes of cordless run time once charged is more than enough to vacuum the whole of my 3 bedroom house (performance setting) unless you have the vacuum cleaner on the Boost setting. Understandably when on the Boost setting the battery does seem to drain quicker. I think that it charges really quickly too and would agree with the website saying that it takes 3 hours to charge. This is great for times when you may run out midst vacuuming and it won’t be long before you can finish your hoovering task.
On the boost setting, the vacuum cleaner is the best vacuum cleaner performance wise that I have ever used. It isn’t too noisy either, which would be great for those people or pets who do not like loud noises. I mentioned the settings earlier briefly. They are – Eco, Performance and Boost. I do find the vacuum cleaner hard to push on some carpets when on the Boost setting. I can only get either the upstairs or downstairs of my house vacuumed, not both levels, before having to recharge the battery when using the vacuum cleaner on the Boost setting. That said, because you can recharge the battery in around 3 hours it does not bother me too much.
At £249.99 I think that this useful bundle represents fantastic value for money. Once thing I really like when using this vacuum cleaner is the built in safety feature where you press a safety switch for the brush to start up. I also like that you can easily view the battery life by looking at the indicator light. There is even a very handy bag change needed indicator light. Speaking of the bags, they are straight forward to change.
I haven’t yet wall mounted my vacuum cleaner but am delighted that I have the option to and that all the fixings I need to do so are included. The only minor niggle I do have is that the vacuum cleaner can feel rather heavy when I am using it to vacuum cobwebs on the ceiling or high up my walls.
I think that this vacuum cleaner would be a great new addition to any household and great for Spring Cleaning your home.
Update 4/3/21 – I went to change the pouch at the weekend and there was minimal dust. I have found with some bagless vaccum cleaners that emptying the vaccuum cleaner can be a dusty situation.
