My daughter and I are huge Zoella fans and often watch her YouTube videos.
I feel that Zoe Sugg makes a wonderful role model for the younger generation. She is fun to watch. I was therefore over the moon to get the chance to review her book, Girl Online On Tour (this is the sequel to the Number One Best Seller Girl Online). Girl Online is the name of the blog of the lead character Penny.
The reason for the delay in actually writing my review is that I had to pry it back off of my 10 year old daughter first so that I could actually read it.
I don’t want to spoil things for those of you who have not yet read the book, so I will not give away the storyline. But the basic premise is that Penny has been invited on a music tour by her rocker boyfriend. But everything isn’t as great as she thought it would be.
It’s well written and easy to follow. The chapters are the perfect length. You find yourself routing for the characters. The book also teaches value life lessons.
I highly recommend it. Pure class from the lovely lady.
