Gillette Labs Exfoliating Razor Bundle With Magnetic Stand

Who would have thought that you can shave and exfoliate at the same time. Well, you can with this revolutionary men’s razor from Gillette.

I have to first point out how stunningly stylish the design is of the Black and Gold Edition. (editor’s note – the reviewer was sent the standard one and not the black and gold one.)  The colour combination is a fab one and one that looks very classy and sophisticated indeed.

There is an exfoliating bar that helps to remove dead skin and dirt, including any build up of excess oil that the body produces, otherwise known as ‘sebum’. This is built into the handle and makes it perfect for the cleaner and sharper finish when shaving. My husband said it left his skin feeling very, very soft, almost like he had a close shave at the barbers. The handle is very well designed from an ergonomic perspective. It fits extremely well and safely in the hand and did not feel like you would loose grip or it would slide out of your hand.

Amazing to see that the refill actually has five blades, yes, that is right, five blades, making shaving even closer and more precise.

Whilst it was predominantly tried by my husband, I just had to try it myself too. I tried it on my legs and O.M.G!, my legs never felt so soft, silky and smooth. Oooops, there goes my hubby razor… LOL.

What both of us really do like about this; is the fact that it comes with a stand, My husband currently puts its razor in an tumbler glass in the bathroom cabinet. By having the Gillette Labs razor, means it can be stored up right and safely in the stand. What makes it even better, is the fact that Gillette Labs state, that the handle and stand are both designed for longevity to the point that they are guaranteed for at least five years.

Gillette Labs by Gillette Quick Rinse Shaving Foam for Men (240ml)

One of the many things we like about this particular shaving foam, is the fact that that alcohol and dyes are not used. It is a lovely and refreshing fragrance and leaves you feeling really clean and fresh. It is very easy to work with as it is very light and along with the razor above, both go hand in hand together as the foam is very soft, making it easy to glide through when shaving, along with the fact that the razor glides extremely well.

Gillette Labs Fast Absorbing Moisturiser (100ml)

This is an amazing hydrating moisturiser that is not too heavy or thick. It soaks into the skin easily and gently and gives a barrier to protect the skin. Being so light, there is no residue unlike other moisturisers. It does not leave your skin feeling oily or greasy either, just silky smooth and soft.

My husband never uses a moisturiser but in between shaving (he does not shave every day, usually every 2 days), he has now started to use this every day, morning and night. It is lovely has as it has a beautiful fragrance to it. As an aromatherapist myself, the hint of cedar wood and orange makes it a definite clean and fresh aroma and the orange scent leaves you feeling uplifted, whilst the cedar wood is a more masculine scent as it is a woody aroma.

By using it every day, he noticed that when he did shave, his skin was less irritated. We also think that it is a combination of this fantastic moisturiser and the shaving foam.
