Gabby’s Purrfect Dollhouse Review

Who does not love a doll house?  I love them, reminds me of being a little girl and love it when the grandchildren come round to play and could not wait to get started with Gabby’s Purrfect Dollhouse.

Being an absolute fan of any toy that encompasses sensory and interactive play, I find it is extremely important for any child’s development and as I have said before on other items I have reviewed; Smyths Toys are very good at incorporating these into their toys.

Cognitive learning is also very important when it comes to interactive play and there is so much that can be learnt through this, including counting, imagination, observation, hand and eye co-ordination and so much more. Just let your child’s imagination run wild and you will be surprised with your help and interaction how much they can really learn from playing with this.

So, anyone who has heard and watch Gabby’s Dollhouse on Netflix will know that any little child would love the real thing.  The dollhouse is in the shape of a cat and looks very much like the one you see in the show.  It is stunning with a turquoise frontage, 6 windows, a pink roof with 2 different coloured ears; purple and white.  The white ear is a window which opens up, with a delivery tower to the side of the dollhouse, how cool is that!  To open the frontage which is 2 doors, just press the button and you automatically get drawn in by all the fantastic colours.  Put Gabby into the Cat-A-Vator and she travels to each of the floors within the dollhouse.  To open and see what is under the roof, just pull it back and voila, see where all the purrfect little kitties are.  There are a total of 4 floors and 7 different rooms, so let the imagination run wild when playing with this adorable house.

I love all the rooms and the kitchen especially, as the table turns over. One minute it is breakfast, the next it is dinner. WOWZER, so cool!  When the doors are open, there is room on each inside of the doors where you can extend the house and accessories which are available to purchase separately.

I particularly love the colours Gabby’s Perfect Dollhouse has to offer.  The colours consist of delicate pastels as well as bright and bold and they really are a great way to keep any child engaged in the whilst playing.  Great too for interactive and sensory play/development as I could make reference to a colour and get my Granddaughter to point to the colours each time I asked her (she’s is just turned 3 years old).  The colours are as follows:-

What makes Gabby’s Purrfect Dollhouse even more fun is the fact it has music, phrases and sounds from the show, I will keep them a surprise for you.  To hear these, just press the button at the front of the house.

HOW TO ASEMBLE
Place the base on a flat surface
Take the housing of the house and click it into position on the base.  You will know when it is secure as you will here the clicks.
Then attach all the backings to each of the rooms. There are 6 slots where you can securely click them into place
Place the floors to each room, again, these will click securely into place
To fix the doors in place, use the hinge pin for each side of the house
Inside each door, you then need to clip the floor attachments
Clip on the ears at the back on top of the roof
Then position the roof on top of the house
Position the delivery tower next to the house by slipping it into the slot
The tree then gets put into position at the top of the delivery tower by clipping it into position
Once the house is complete, you can then start putting the accessories into each of the rooms

STORAGE OR HOUSE
This is very easy to tidy up and store when playtime has finished.  Leave everything inside the house, close the doors and that is is.  It really is that easy!

Love, Love, Love it. A real must for any child who loves and can be encouraged with creative and imaginative play along with role play, learning thing about looking after a home and most importantly, having lots and lots of fun at the same time.
