FUL London Intense Moisture Hair Mask Review

I am already a regular user of hair masks. I find that using them once or twice a week alongside my usual shampoo and conditioning routine helps to keep my hair soft and healthy. I have tried a few brands previously however until I had the opportunity to try it recently I was not aware of the FUL London brand. I have been trying the FUL London Intense Moisture Hair Mask.

The hair mask comes in an attractive, sleek 300ml tub. It has an easy to open screw lid. My first thoughts were how elegant the packaging is. The pot of hair mask fits in nicely on my bathroom shelf.

The hair mask is made with 100% vegan ingredients. It is formulated with shea butter and coconut oil, two ingredients I love, to hydrate hair and keep it healthy.

On first opening the tub I was happy to notice that the hair mask has a pleasant but not overpowering scent. I noticed there were both fruity and floral hints. I was surprised by the texture. Many other hair masks I’ve tried have been quite loose, similar to hair conditioner. However this was thick, feeling more like a jelly.

After shampooing my hair as usual I applied a small amount of the hair mask to my damp hair. I have very long hair but found I only needed a small amount of the product to cover from my scalp all the way down to the ends. Therefore I think this one tub will last me a lot of washes.

As indicated on the instructions I combed through the strands of my hair and then left the mask to work. The mask requires 5 -10 minutes so I took the opportunity to start some household chores before going to rinse my hair through. This hair mask can also be left on overnight for even better results. With how light the texture is I think I could happily do this without feeling irritated by it.

The hair mask was easy to wash out and I instantly noticed my hair was smooth and not tangled. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my hair still felt light. I’ve often found hair masks to leave a residue but this one didn’t. Once my hair was dried I noticed even more the effect the mask had on my hair. My hair is often very dry which is why I try to use masks regularly. The Intense Moisture Hair Mask from FUL London really seems to have helped add some much needed hydration. My hair feels softer, smoother and I felt it was much better tamed compared to usual.

This hair mask retails at £32.00. Although fairly expensive compared to other brands I would pay this much as it has had a lasting effect on my hair and I feel that the tub is going to be long lasting as only a small amount was needed. I am going to be adding this into my weekly hair care routine. It’s also a beautiful tub. It feels indulgent to use and would make for a lovely gift for yourself or someone special!
