The Fresh Faced Powder from Miners Cosmetics is a paraben free powder – not knowing what parabens were I looked it up.
Parabens are chemical preservatives that have been identified as estrogenic and disruptive of normal hormone function. Estrogenic chemicals mimic the function of the naturally occurring hormone estrogen, and exposure to external estrogens has been shown to increase the risk of breast cancer.
Firstly the powder, is fresh and compact, it glides on well with a brush over moisturiser and liquid foundation if you would like to use first, equally as good without the foundation under it. The powder went on evenly and smoothly with a makeup brush. There were no streak marks, looked fantastic all day, when applying the blusher over the make-up it set well.
I found it lasted all day with just a quick reapply later in the evening before going out…
I was most impressed with the smoothness that the powder went on and now I know what parabens are I would recommend this even more. It really made me feel glamorous!
