This is just a lovely set of jigsaw puzzles and perfect for my two year old. They are in a small cardboard box which is nice and sturdy – essential for toddlers that like to stand on things! It’s a colourful box with the four illustrations of the puzzles on the front.
There are four puzzles in total made up of 2 pieces (Gruffalo), 3 pieces (Snake), 4 pieces (Mouse) and 5 pieces (Snake) and is suggested for age range 18 months and up. I’m so grateful that there is a 2 piece puzzle in there as my little one is just getting the hang of puzzles and the 2 piece really helped her understood what she was aiming to do.
The other good thing is it’s not one of those boxes that all four puzzles have to be assembled to go back in. No more crawling around the floor and looking under the sofa for that missing piece!
The pieces are good solid cardboard and my toddler thoroughly tested them for bendiness and tastiness. The answer on both counts is apparently not very! It’s a good puzzle that will last her a while due to the increasing number of pieces.
It’s a great puzzle and I know it will be perfect for winding down time at the end of the day before we go to bed and actually read the Gruffalo!
I think its great value and I’d give it 5 out of 5.
