You are probably used to all the basics in skincare, cleanser, toner, moisturiser, but what about serums?  This might be something new to you.

The serums I have used previously have been oil based and dispensed with a dropper but this one is a cream.  It is packaged in what looks like a tube but when the top is removed you will see it is a pump action dispenser.  This is a really good way to ensure you use the correct amount of product.  It is packed with powerful ingredients so only a small amount is needed, and because it is a lighter texture than a moisturiser it will sink right into your skin without leaving a trace of anything.  You could be tempted to use more than you need 1 – 2 pumps should be enough for face and the décolleté area, I am always conscious of overloading my skin with products.  It is important that you apply after cleansing but before moisturising.

I used this product once per day for a week, I like the way it sunk into my skin quickly leaving a matt finish, I didn’t see any immediate improvement but my skin always felt soft and never dry.  At the end of the week I can see that my skin is looking much brighter and fresher, it also has a luminosity it didn’t have before, so I am very happy with the results.  I’ve even had a compliment from a friend I’ve not seen for a few weeks.

The key ingredients are aloe vera gel,( it wouldn’t be a Forever product with aloe vera) white tea extract which has antioxidant and anti aging properties.  Not one but four types of hyaluronic acid, putting something onto your skin that includes the word “acid” does sound a bit alarming, but rest assured it is a natural product that we already have in our skin but like most things it depletes with age.  Such a clever ingredient it is said to hold a thousand times it’s own weight in water and this is why it is so good at keeping the skin hydrated.  In addition to reducing fine Iines and wrinkles, this product will also offer some protection against the environment, especially good for the winter months when we are constantly going from one extreme to the other, the cold and windy outdoors to the centrally heated indoors, not to mention the reduced daylight.

Not tested on animals, this product has won many beauty awards and achieved an excellent rating in dermalogical tests, priced at £38.60 for 50ml this would make the ideal gift for any beauty lovers.
