The body wash is in a 236ml soft squeezable tube, there is no excessive or wasteful packaging it’s all about the product. The main ingredients are aloe vera which “Forever” is an expert in, it is full of vitamins and has moisturising properties and sodium cocoyl glycinate which sounds like a chemical but is actually a natural cleansing agent, and jojoba seed which has a wide range of benefits.
The first thing I noticed was the beautiful colour of the product, it is lovely delicate shade of green with a pearlescent effect which evokes in me memories of the beach and the sea, after reading though the product information I discovered that the colour is naturally derived from copper chlorophyll. The next thing I noticed was the smell, I always find it difficult to describe a smell but I would say it’s a soft blend of wood and herbs that conjures up a feeling of being clean and fresh, the type of smell you often get in a luxury spa and completely gender neutral.
One thing to be aware of is that It is highly concentrated I used way too much the first time I used it, I think the size of a 5p piece would be ample for a full body wash especially if you are using a sponge or scrunching. It’s not soapy at all but lathers up into tight little bubbles which glide softly over the skin cleaning and moisturising at the same time. There are no sulphites added to this product so it does not strip your skin, but leaves it so soft and well moisturised it will also balance the PH which is important to the overall health of your skin. After showering my skin was so soft I didn’t need to use a body lotion which is something I always need to do after a shower.
I can see why this product has won awards and awarded an excellent rating in dermatological tests. This product is a million miles away from a shower gel you might pick up in the supermarket. This is a high quality product, although it would be suitable for all the family I would hide it away and keep it for yourself, let your daily shower become an indulgent luxury just for you.
This is a vegan product it is also gluten free and like all the other Forever products it is not tested on animals.
It would make an ideal gift any beauty lovers on your Christmas shopping list.
