Robinsons Squash
Robinson’s is one of those brands that has been around forever and that I was brought up with. We would have it our house and that of my grandparents.
In 1823 Robinsons was established in the UK. Robinsons to me is a very British brand and product. I remember when holidaying in Spain as a child and asking my parents to buy Robinsons squash in the supermarket but sadly it wasn’t sold.
Robinsons have kept the brand up to date over the years by introducing new products and flavours as well as sugar free squash.
This summer I am loving the new Robinsons Strawberry, Cucumber and Mint Cordial. The cordial smells and tastes so summery and is very refusing.
I love that Robinsons keeps bring out new flavours and products to keep up with the current trends. It is the only brand of squash I will buy and there is a flavour to suit all tastes.
Most of all I love that it is a British brand with the products made across the UK.

Fruit Shoots
I have two young daughters who like a picnic, and that’s what first drew me to Robinson’s Fruit Shoots. The handy lunch-box size bottles, with no-spill and resealable lids, make for the perfect choice when you’re out and about.
As well as fruit, Fruit Shoots contain multi-vitamins. Better still, they don’t contain any added sugar, artificial colours or flavourings. Whilst water and milk are still my go-to beverages for my girls (whilst I still get to make the decisions on drinks), the fact that each bottle of Original Fruit Shoot contains just half a teaspoon of sugar, that naturally occurs from the juice, means I’m happy for my little people to enjoy them when we’re on the go or as a teatime treat.
Fruit Shoots are available in four flavours. My two love the tangy and bold Apple and Blackcurrant. The strawberries, raspberries and apples that make up Summer Fruits come a close second. The Orange and Apple flavours go down well too and from my own sneaky sips I can confirm all four offerings are suitably refreshing; and especially enjoyed by the kids after (and mid) playground adventures.
Every Fruit Shoot has been blended especially for children. We have tried supermarket own brands of this winning concept and whilst they match up in format, they seem to fall down in flavour. Fruit Shoots would certainly win the blindfold taste test in our house.
As well as Fruit Shoot Original, there’s two separate but similar Robinson’s ranges – Fruit Shoot Juiced and Fruit Shoot Hydro. Juiced is deliciously fruity with each bottle containing 50% water and 50% juice, sweetened only with real fruit. The Hydro range is spring water with natural fruit flavourings and contains zero sugar. We have tried quite a few of said collections and although there’s been no complaints, we seem to gravitate towards The Fruit Shoot Original. I’m sure this is largely due to our local supermarket being rather small and their stock reflected in that.
As a parent keen to teach my girls about the importance of looking after the environment, all Fruit Shoot bottles being 100% recyclable is another selling point. The fact that I often find the bottles retrieved from the recycling box and up-cycled into jet packs for a cardboard rocket creation, is another matter entirely!

Shaken Udder Milkshakes
Shaken Udder are delicious milkshakes available in 6 different flavours: salted caramel, vanillalicious, Ooh la latte, Strawberries and clotted cream, chocolush, and top banana. They are suitable for vegetarians, contain vitamin B12 for natural immunity support, are gluten free, are made with British milk, are a good source of calcium and contain no artificial colours, flavours of preservatives.
The recyclable bottles come in 750ml or 300ml sizes, or in lunchbox cartons with a straw for kids (200ml). There is even an “easy pak” which contains 300ml and can be stored at an ambient temperature.
Onto the taste test – each flavour we tried was really good. We love milkshakes in our house, and these were among some of the best we have tried. As they contain real ingredients, such as banana, chocolate or strawberry, they don’t taste fake like some other milkshakes do. They aren’t too sweet and are simply nicely flavoured milk. Great for kids and adults alike, with a large range of flavours and sizes.
